Quilted chair liner

Happy to make this quilted liner for a little boy who has specialist seating requirements. This chair looked too medical and needed cheering up!

Teddy Bear Quilt

This teddy bear quilt was all prepared and waiting for the name to be painted as soon as baby made an appearance. No-one was saying before the arrival so neutral colours and themes were chosen ... vintage teddy bear fabric and applique bears to complete the look.

 The quilt was commissioned by a friend of the child's parents who wrote "Thank you so much for the quilt it is absolutely beautiful. Thank you again, it is absolutely amazing, she is such a lucky girl."

Sew lovely

Thank you to all the children in Y1 at the local infant school. I received a handmade card saying thank you for the times I had been in to help and taught some of the children to sew ...

 The 40th London to Brighton Cycle Ride is this weekend in support of the British Heart Foundation - good luck to all the riders and to all St John Ambulance members on duty...

For now my bicycle clips are staying on my quilts - they reduce the bulk making it so much easier to feed the fabric under the arm
